Your email address is your account. A password is optional:

  1. Enter your email address below, and a password if you want one.
  2. We email you a confirmation link.
  3. Open it and press Confirm. That creates your account, turns on your password, and signs you in on that browser.

Your account includes the free daily summary: how many travel-industry problems were found in the last 24 hours, and their headlines. Unsubscribing from it deletes the account.

We store your email address, the dates you signed up and confirmed, whether you asked for Pro (and the billing period you picked), and, if you choose a password, a one-way hash of it (never the password itself). Confirming or signing in sets one cookie on that browser so the site knows it’s you; it holds no address and lasts until you close the browser or sign out (12 hours at most).
